The National Museum of the United States Air Force is an Air Force facility.  Funding for normal operations and maintenance is provided by the Air Force.  Gifts and grants provide support for facility expansion and items not normally appropriated by Congress.  The latter includes support for education, the volunteer program, promotional activities, and special events.
