The National Museum of the United States Air Force is the largest and oldest military aviation museum in the world. Located near Dayton, Ohio this unique free attraction tells the exciting story of aviation development from the days of the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk to the present. Each year over one million visitors from around the world tour 10 acres of indoor exhibits, featuring over 400 aircraft and missiles and thousands of artifacts including personal memorabilia, uniforms, and photographs.

All exhibits and displays are well identified to permit touring without guides. Tours offered on a limited basis. The Museum does offer planning assistance for Motorcoach operators, Educational Tours and Reunion Groups. The Museum is handicapped accessible.  Baby Strollers and wheelchairs are available on a limited basis for use inside the Museum building.  No pets please.  Guide and service dogs only.

The Valkyrie Café is located on the second floor of the Museum.  Besides the regular menu, box lunches are available for special/school tours.  Picnic tables are available in the summer months.  Sack lunches cannot be accommodated in the Museum building.
